Wasserwald Shepherds is the home of German Shepherd Dog enthusiasts. Our breeding program is dedicated to creating versatile, German Shepherds with a commitment to temperament, health and structure. Wasserwald is located in Ardoise,NS overlooking the entrance to the Annapolis Valley and the scenic rolling hills of West Hants.

It is our objective to use the German Shepherd standard as a guide in our breeding program, with emphasis on form and function. We want to focus on the versatility of this dynamic breed. A beautiful representative of the breed has the ability to succeed at work, show or as a loving companion.

Our pups are descended from an impressive and world class pedigree. German Shepherd showlines from European kennels such as vom Blumenkamp, vom St.Michael's-Berg, Bacarra and Nordlandzwinger.

Our puppies are raised in our home, not kennels. They receive constant attention, household socialization and stimulus leading to well adjusted dogs with excellent temperament and character.
